Although I was born in Caracas, Venezuela to a Panamanian mother and a Venezuelan father, we moved to the outskirts of NYC when I was three, where I had a multicultural upbringing the rest of my life. As a bilingual reporter that has traveled to 42 countries, I have a real passion for quality journalism that brings international events home. Encountering people across the world firsthand has fueled my passion to use the tools of the journalism realm to shed light on life’s most pressing issues.
From my time reporting in Montevideo, Uruguay to the opportunities I had in CNN and the Huffington Post, my passion for journalism has only grown and I eagerly look forward to joining a news team that informs the public with accuracy, fervor and diligence thus empowering the citizenry of our nation.
